The Golden Living development, Cottingham House off Newgate Street, will consist of one and two bedroom stylish apartments, within 260 metres from the centre of the village and the market place. To the west of the city of Hull, the pretty village of Cottingham is reputedly the site of the very first electric traffic lights, fitted as an experiment in 1931!
