 How to get there...
| From the South (M62)
At J38 of the M62, exit towards North Cave/Gilberdyke. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for the B1230 and merge onto the B1230/Newport Road. Continue following signs for the B1230. At the T-Junction (Kellerthorpe Hill) turn left and then take an immediate right to continue. At J38 of on the B1230. Follow signs for the B1230 and on entry into Beverley, take the slight left at Walkington Road. Turn left at St Mary’s Terrace and then immediately right onto Newbegin. At the T-junction of A164 and Lairgate turn left, following signs for A164 then take the 2nd right turn, onto Hengate. Continue along this road, following signs for A1035. At White Cross roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A165. At the next roundabout (Leven Roundabout) take the 3rd exit onto the B1244. On entry into Hornsea take the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto Marketplace. Turn left onto Newbegin and continue along this road, taking a slight right to join New Road. Turn right onto Railway Street and follow the road round onto Sands Lane, the Golden Living development is on your right. From the North (A1M):
Leave the A1(M) at J47 and take the 1st exit onto the A59 towards York. As you near York, take the 1st exit on arrival at the roundabout onto the A1237. Continue following signs for the A1237 and you will reach a roundabout at Hopgrove with the 2nd exit onto the A64 (signposted Leeds). Follow the left branch on the road (signposted York, Hull), then as you reach Grimston Bar Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A1079 (signposted Hull). Continue along the A1079 heading towards Hull and on your approach into Beverley join the A1035. As you enter Beverley, turn right onto the A164 (North Bar Without) and then take the next left onto Hengate. Continue forward onto Norwood (A1035) then at Swinemoor Lane roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Hull Bridge Road (A1035). Continue forward on the A1035 passing through Tickton and Routh, then at the White Cross roundabout take the second exit onto A165. At the next roundabout (Leven Roundabout) take the 3rd exit onto the B1244. On entry into Hornsea take the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto Marketplace. Turn left onto Newbegin and continue along this road, taking a slight right to join New Road. Turn right onto Railway Street and follow the road round onto Sands Lane, the Golden Living development is on your right. From Scarborough:
Starting from Westborough head towards Scarborough Station, when you reach the traffic lights turn right onto Northway (A165). Following signs for the A165, pass through Cayton Bay and when you reach Bridlington at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Scarborough Road (A1038). Over the next two roundabouts take the 2nd exits to maintain your path on Scarborough Road. Follow signs to Hull (A165) onto Hilderthorpe Road and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Kingsgate (A165). Follow signs for the A165, pass through Fraisthorpe and turn left shortly after onto Allison Lane (B1242) signposted to Hornsea. Continue along the B1242 and you will pass through Ulrome, Skipsea and Altwick. On entry to Hornsea, take a left onto Mill Lane, then at the T-junction a right onto Eastgate. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Market Place. Turn left onto Newbegin and continue along this road, taking a slight right to join New Road. Turn right onto Railway Street and follow the road round onto Sands Lane, the Golden Living development is on your right. |
