How to find Penistone

Directions from junction 37 (M1 North and South):
From Junction 37 of the M1, leave the motorway (signposted Manchester) and at the slip road roundabout take the A628 exit.

At the roundabout take the first exit (from the M1 South) or the 3rd exit (from the M1 North) onto the A628. Follow the A 628 until the Bridge End Junction (Penistone). At the traffic signals turn left on to the B6462 (signposted Penistone town centre and Oxspring).

Continue along Bridge Street, going under a railway bridge and the Golden Living development is on your right hand side.

Directions from Manchester:
Follow the A57 out of Manchester (signposted Sheffield). At the roundabout M60/M67 take the 2nd exit onto the M67 and then branch right to join the M67.

At the end of the M67, continue straight ahead onto the A57 (signposted Sheffield/Barnsley). At the traffic signals, continue straight ahead onto the A628 (Signposted Barnsley).

Continue on the A628 (Woodhead Pass). Turn left (at the junction with Hartcliffe Road) to remain on the A628.

At Bridge End Junction traffic signals turn left on the B6462 (signposted Penistone town centre and Oxspring).

Continue along Bridge Street, going under a railway bridge and the Golden Living development is on your right hand side

Directions from Sheffield
Take the A61 from Sheffield (signposted Barnsley A61). Continue along this road and branch to the left at the junction with the A629 (Penistone Road, signposted Huddersfield).

Continue on the A629 until the junction with Halifax Road, turn left here (still the A629).

From the A629 follow the road left onto Thurgoland Bank. Follow this road into the centre of Penistone (the road turns into Sheffield Road then Shrewsbury Road).

At the junction with Market Street, turn right then follow the road left onto St Mary’s Street. The Golden Living development is on the left.
